Biografia:

Artista specializzato in Fine Art Photos. Laureato in medicina, prima di arrivare a Long Island, New York, dove attualmente risiede, ha viaggiato a lungo in Europa e nel Medio Oriente. I suoi interessi vanno dall'astronomia alla storia dell'umanità dalle arti comparate alla spiritualità. Dal 2009 è diventato rappresentante per gli Stati Uniti e socio onorario del movimento Immagine & Poesia, movimento che in pochi anni si è diffuso a livello internazionale attraverso il Web. Poetica:

Photography has been part of me all my life. It is my way to sharpen observation, bring vision to a focus, provoke thought and evoke emotion. It is my way of heightening awareness and overcoming the apathy resulting from the comfort of the usual and ordinary. In parallel journeys, I took roads less traveled and revisited places and saw them again for the first time. Amidst the order and chaos in our world, my eyes see always beauty, and my work is a window to my world. Adel Gorgy

Per tutta la mia vita la Fotografia ha fatto parte di me. Lo considero un modo per affinare l'osservazione, per mettere a fuoco la visione delle cose, per suscitare pensieri ed evocare emozioni. E' il mio modo di aumentare la consapevolezza e di superare l'apatia che deriva dalla comodità dellle cose solite e ordinarie. In viaggi paralleli, ho preso vie meno battute, ho rivisitato luoghi e li ho visti di nuovo per la prima volta. In mezzo all'ordine e al caos del nostro mondo, i miei occhi vedono sempre la bellezza e il mio lavoro è una finestra sul mondo. Adel Gorgy
