Biografia:

Carolyn Mary Kleefeld è nata a Catford, Gran Bretagna e all'età di 4 anni si è trasferita con la famiglia in California. Negli anni '70 ha studiato arte e psicologia presso la UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles). Il suo primo libro di poesie Climates of the Mind è stato pubblicato nel 1979, seguito da diverse altre pubblicazioni: la più recente è Psyche of Mirrors: A Promenade of Portraits. (2012)

Dal 1990 ad oggi Carolyn Mary Kleefeld ha esposto in numerose gallerie e musei degli Stati Uniti ed ha pubblicato numerose poesie abbinate ad immagini: proprio per questo motivo nel 2011 è diventata socia onoraria del Movimento artistico letterario Immagine & poesia fondato da Aeronwy Thomas nel 2007.

Poetica:

Ultimately art is an innocent interactive mirror of my innermost process, whisking me out of time into the Timeless. My life’s passion is to live and create art from this unconditioned well of being and to inspire such a journey in others.

Victoria Valentine the editor of this magazine chose the following drawings and paintings as an addition to her summer issue, ‘Abstract Faces,’ ‘Bohemian Palace Sculpture,’ ‘Monsieur Hello, ‘Shakti’ and ‘Reconciliation’ (Spring 2007).
