Francesco Galluzzi, docente di estetica nelle Accademie di Belle Arti di Palermo, storico e critico dell'arte, si è occupato principalmente del manierismo cinquecentesco, della stagione delle avanguardie, dei rapporti tra arte e letteratura nella cultura italiana novecentesca.
Si occupa del rapporto tra arte e nuove tecnologie, organizzando mostre e incontri, partecipando a convegni e dibattiti e pubblicando testi sulle principali riviste di settore. E' stato redattore capo della rivista La Stanza Rossa ed è redattore della rivista "Km/n". Ha partecipato all'attività dei gruppi di ricerca sull'arte multimediale Strano Network e Quinta Parete. Il progetto Quinta Parete (1996) nasce con i molteplici obiettivi di dare una conoscenza tecnica di base sulla produzione di audiovisivi e sull'uso del linguaggio ipertestuale e una visione critica e analitica dei mezzi di comunicazione esistenti. Il gruppo, formato da Francesco Galluzzi, Federico Bucalossi, Vanni Cilluffo, Claudio Parrini e Giacomo Verde, nel 1996 avvia a Vinci la Minimal TV, la televisione di strada più piccola del mondo. La funzione della Minimal TV è quella di "dimostrare" che ogni evento può trasformarsi, artigianalmente, in un evento televisivo, nel quale però, a differenza di quanto avviene nella tv, il pubblico viene realmente coinvolto fino a diventare protagonista e produttore della trasmissione televisiva.
Francesco Galluzzi si occupa del rapporto tra arte e nuove tecnologie, organizzando mostre e incontri, partecipando a convegni e dibattiti e pubblicando testi sulle principali riviste di settore.
