The Rules are no Game [MAOD] seems to ask the visitor to trample on art: the floor of the installation consists of a representation of Jackson Pollock's No 32. Moving across the floor causes the text images projected on the wall to change. Each position activates an Internet mechanism that decides which text is generated. By moving around the room, the visitor appropriates Pollock's work, gaining access to retrievable information at the same time. The text information that cannot be coordinated can be read as documentation or as a commentary on this process of appropriation.
