In two large-scale video projections, Drive, Track #3 reveals the mutual infiltration of body and technology. 16mm film, satellite pictures, Hi8 and digital video recordings alternate on the projection screens and automatically put the visitor into a space of both real and virtual presence when he enters the installation. Parts of the projections are transmitted via the internet , others are superimposed by a target input from the internet. Rhythm and speed determine the changes in the system. The visitor is constantly forced to reorientate and at the same time to show proprioceptive commitment.
