In questo estremo quodlibet emerge il senso profetico del messaggio di Chiari. Qui la voce improvvisativa è filtrata da una serie di riflessioni sugli statuti sociali del fare musica.
Scored as written instructions for any number of players, this curious piece both suggests material for the performer and describes in subtle, at times almost poetical, language the psychological state and musical style of the performer as well as the social circumstances in which each player finds his or her own self. Through these cues the composer attempts to convey his particular social vision of what may occur in, in John Cage's term, an "ensemble of individuals." The "instrument" described in this piece may also be an analog for a human body.
